Ernest Ray Twine was born on November 13, 1949 in
Jasper, Texas to the late Arlee Twine and Ruthie May
McKinney.

Arlee Twine moved Ernest "Dick" and his bothers, Harris,
Johnnie Mac and Robert C. to Grand Prairie, Texas in 1951; they
were raised by Mr. Arlee and Lillian Gossett Twine. Ernest
"Dick" graduated from Grand Prairie High School in Grand
Prairie, TX and attended Northwood College.

He united with St. John Baptist Church at an early age. Ernest
"Dick" retired from General Motors in Arlington, TX. He was a
member of the Live Stone Masonic Lodge #152. In his past
times, he enjoyed playing dominos and watching sports. He was a
member of the Live Stone Masonic Lodge #152, NAACP, and
Juneteenth Committee of Grand Prairie.

Ernest "Dick" leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Tabitha
Lee; brothers, Johnnie Mac (Angela), Lawerence Earl (Barbara)
Gary Reed (Lillian), James Williams (Judith) Billy Ray Adams;
and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
