Eva Mae Haynes was born in Laurel, Mississippi at Charity Hospital to Betty Jean and Walter Chapman.

Eva married her high school sweetheart, Jarvis Andre Haynes, on February 12, 1988 and to their union three children were born. She graduated and received her diploma from Heidelberg High School in Heidelberg, Mississippi in May 1988.

In 1992, Eva received her certification as a Medical Assistant in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. In 1997, Eva and Jarvis relocated to Richardson, Texas where she was a stay at home mom. In 2005 she accepted Christ into her life. Later in 2009, Eva received her Bachelor's Degree in Medical Coding and Billing from Everest University in Miami, Florida. Her favorite color was purple and she loved to play basketball resulting in the Mavericks being her favorite NBA team. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and extended family and she lived a life dedicated to Christ, her husband, children and family. Although she is gone in the flesh, her love and spirit continues to live on.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband Jarvis Haynes; three children: Joshua Haynes, Shadana Haynes-Gonzales, and Brandon Haynes; four grandchildren: Kaleb Gonzales, Karter Gonzales, Amiyah Gonzales, and Anthony Haynes; five siblings: Bobby Jones, Lionel Chapman-Tillis, Gloria Chapman-Tillis, Mary Chapman-Robledo, Alicia Chapman-Keyes, Regina Chapman-Day; nieces and nephews: Nashica House, Jerry House Jr., Jonas House, Aquavia Keyes, Daniel Keyes, Tyra Day, Roger Day Jr., Rogerick Day and a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
