Fezell “Bubba” Beans was born on November 19, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Dorothy Wright and Fezell Beans, Sr.

From the very beginning, Bubba brought light, laughter, and love into the lives of those around him. He attended L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, Texas, where he formed many lifelong friendships.

Bubba was known for his infectious smile, warm heart, and unforgettable personality. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making people laugh. Whether he was showing off his smooth dance moves and effortless glides or cheering for his Cowboys, or sharing his fa-mous phrase, “I ain’t lyin’, fool!”, he was truly the life of every gathering. His presence could brighten any room, and his laughter was contagious.

Above all, Bubba was a devoted family man. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children and especially his beloved grandchildren. Nothing made him prouder than talking about them and celebrating their accomplishments. He deeply loved his wife, Regina of 23 years and treasured every moment they shared together. He also cherished the time spent with his siblings, family, and friends.

A passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, Bubba faithfully supported his team through every season. His love for football was only surpassed by the love he had for his family and friends.

Fezell was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Wright and Fezell Beans Sr.; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his beloved sisters, Sandra and Earlene; one cherished grandchild; and several beloved aunts and one uncle.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Regina Beans; his loving children, La Donna, Lakeisha, Felisha, Samantha, Funtasia, Brian, Greg, Taurus, and Fezell; ten beautiful grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered with love by his sisters, Pearl and Latonya; his brothers, Eugene, Charles, and Barron; his lifelong game crew and brothers by heart—JC, MJ, Mike, Derrick, and Cadaryl; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were forever touched by his love, laughter, and generous spirit.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in knowing that Bubba’s legacy of love, laughter, strength, and family will continue to live on in all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to inspire smiles for generations to come.
