Obituary

Floyd D. Williams was born on May 23, 1949, in Nesbit Mississippi, to the late Lenton Yarbrough Sr. and Velma Jackson.  He was a graduate of Carver High School in Memphis, Tennessee.

He faithfully served in the United States Army as a member of the 82 nd Airborne Division and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Mr. Williams leaves to cherish his memory his stepmother Myra Lee Yarbrough, ex-wife Rosemary Williams, two loving children Monica William-Garvin (Terrence), Floyd Parrish (Timika), five grandchildren, E'Lexus, Terrence Jr., Justin, Jaylin, and JaMiyah.  Twelve siblings, Jeanette Smith (Victor), Andrea Yarbrough, Latrenda Hunter (James), Stephanie Hooks (Curtis), Antionette Isom (Stanley), Rickey Jackson, Alonzo Jackson Jr., Rodney Yarbrough Jr., Macarthur Mitchum (Laura), James Earl Lipford, and Charles Hill.  A host of nieces and nephews four of which he had a very special bond with; Latonya, Shelbie, Shanika, and Warez Jackson,  two great-nieces Symora and Antyria, one great-nephew Keelan, as well as many friends that will miss him dearly.

Along with his parents, Floyd was also preceded in death by his little sister Burnette Rogers and little brother, Curley Jackson.
