Garry Bell was born on October 15, 1956 in Jackson, Mississippi to the proud parents of Eddie Bell
and Baby Lee. Garry accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He obtained his
primary and secondary education through Jackson public schools. He completed his college education
through Jackson State University. Garry later moved to Dallas, Texas where he met the love of his
life, Judy Inez Hampton, whom he married in 1989. He became a member of Zion Baptist Church
under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Dayvid L. Griggs where he served as a Deacon, male chorus, sound/
audio ministry and community outreach endeavors. He remained faithful touching many lives near and
far.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Bell.
Garry leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Judy Bell; mother, Baby Lee; daughter, Jocelyn Bell;
son, Joshua Bell, son Garrick Bell; granddaughters, Jaliyah & Jamyrah; sisters, Charlie Mae (Johnny),
Carol Lee, Eddie Ruth (John), Patricia Ellis; brother, Leonard Bell ; and many loving nieces, nephews
and relatives
