Mr. Glenn Anthony Simmons was born on November 12, 1955 to the parentage of Grace Darling and Percy L. Simmons, Sr. Anthony was the third child of the four children born to Grace and Percy Levon. He was born in Dallas, Texas and received his public education from Richardson and Dallas Independent School Districts.

He was well known in the Hamilton Park and North Park Communities.

Glenn accepted Christ at an early age at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church. He later united with North Park Missionary Baptist Church. He was an excellent musician and played several times with the Exit Band, he also played piano for several professional groups throughout Dallas and California. He later was employed by several restaurants in the DFW Metroplex.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and his oldest brother, Johnny Joe Simmons.

Glenn leaves to cherish his memories one brother: Percy L. Simmons, Jr.; one sister: Lavonia Alexander; three nephews: Sharmero, Xavier, and Giovanni; four great nieces and a host of cousins, and close family friends.
