Obituary

Glory Fay Bennett, affectionately known as "Fay-Fay," peacefully departed this life on June 8, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Glory was born on June 20, 1974, in Gladewater, Texas, to Earnestine Green and Billy Hanson. During her teenage years, she and her family relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she spent the majority of her life building meaningful relationships and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Glory had a vibrant spirit and a love for life. She enjoyed going to the casino, listening to music, and sharing laughter with those around her. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her world and her proudest accomplishment. Her love for them was unconditional, and she treasured every moment spent making memories that will be forever cherished.

Glory leaves to celebrate and honor her precious memory her devoted daughter, Sabrina Lema (Chris Lema); two loving sons, Thomas Bennett, Jr. (Khadijah Bennett) and LaBrodrick Ellis (fiancée, Kenisha Reese); her mother, Earnestine Green; father, Billy Hanson; five beloved grandchildren, Janiya Edwards, Ja'Miyah Bennett, Kyli Bennett, Khaila Bennett, and LaBrodrick Ellis, Jr.; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends whose lives were blessed by her love, kindness, and presence.

Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Fay-Fay's beautiful spirit will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. Her family will forever honor her memory by carrying forward her strength, unconditional love, and zest for life.
