LIFE REFLECTIONS OF OUR MOTHER
Gwendolyn Blair Pruitt

Gwendolyn was born on March 3, 1944 to Elijah and Velma Blair
(deceased). In her early years, Gwendolyn received her educational
foundation in Dallas, Texas. Dallas is also where she spent some of
her childhood years; later moving to Garrison, Texas where she
completed High School. Gwendolyn worked in the field of Early
Education, Medical Care Giving and Retail.
Gwendolyn was creative and enjoyed arranging things for her home.
She enjoyed learning, reading and visiting beautiful places. The
simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to her.
Gwendolyn was a devoted mother of six children Donna Richmond
(deceased), Jimmy Harper (deceased), Winifred Harper Copeland,
Charlotte Jackson, Dolan Pruitt Jr. and Micheal Pruitt.
Gwendolyn was both a loving grandmother and great grandmother.
She was adored and cherished by her family and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings - two sisters
and two brothers.
Gwen was a light to all who had a privilege of knowing and loving
her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
