Obituary

Harvey Lee Mack, Sr. was born to Jodie Mack, Sr. and Clara Mack on September 19, 1959 in Rock-
wall, TX.

He attended and joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in
Fate, TX as a young child for many years. He later moved his
membership to New Day Family Church in Terrell, TX where he
served as a Deacon under the leadership of Pastor S.D. Willis. On
Sundays you could find Harvey Mack, Sr. in church singing his
favorite song "Walk With Me Lord" smiling from ear to ear.
Harvey attended Garland High School, where he was on the varsity
football team and voted most friendly. He graduated from Garland
High in 1978. Harvey Mack, Sr. worked for Quebecor Printing
Company for 20 plus years as the Shipping & Receiving Manager
until his retirement.
Harvey enjoyed spending time with his family. He was passionate
about drag racing and was an avid follower of Street Outlawz. Win
or lose, the Dallas Cowboys was always his football team of
choice. He also had a deep love for the sport of basketball. In his
younger years, he spent most of his spare time playing for various
teams around the Metroplex. Harvey took great pride in
upholstering a 38-inch folding table for dominoes and was quick to
accept the challenge in playing. His newfound interest was fishing,
where he expressed the desire to go regularly.
Harvey was preceded in death by Jodie Mack, Sr. (father), Clara
Mack (mother), and Billy Mack (brother).
Mourning his death is his beloved wife, Charlotte Mack. He leaves
as his legacy 4 children, Deon Barrett, Nathanael Israel, LaTasha
Mack, and Harvey Mack, Jr. (Nikesha); 6 grandchildren, Jael
Israel, Nathaniel Barrett, Jr., Nikiya Donalson, Nyesha Barrett,
Calese Watkins and Nicholas Barrett; and 1 great-granddaughter,
Calee Watkins.
Harvey, Sr. was loved by his siblings, Jodie Mack, Alvin Mack
(Theresa), Laurinda Thomas, and Pamela Mack and a host of
loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Harvey Mack, Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather,
great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend will be deeply
missed by all who knew him.
