James (Willie Dee) Bradley, Sr. was born February 17, 1942 in Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. and Lillie Bradley, Sr. He lived in Madison, Arkansas and later relocated to Garland, Texas.
James was a member of Scott Avenue Church of Christ in Forrest City, Arkansas and attended Lincoln High school. On December 28, 1961 he married his beloved Bernice Doyle and this union thrived for 30 years.
James worked as a machinist at Forrest City Industrial Plant and also loved working on cars and lawnmowers on the side. His favorite gospel song is "Mansion, Robe and Crown"
James Bradley, Sr. was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers: Horace and Henry Bradley. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Beverly (Israel) of Garland, TX; James Bradley, Jr. of Madison, AR; Jeffery Bradley of New Orleans, LA; Dr. Brenda Bradley of Accokeek, MD; Jarvis Bernard Bradley (Monica) of Fort Washington, MD; Raymond Watson of
Biscoe, AR and an adopted son, Ladarius Bradley of Forrest City, AR; his brothers &
sisters: Curtis Bradley, Sr. (Jearlene) of Palo Vedra Beach, FL; Arthur L.
Bradley, Jr. of Jonesboro AR and one sister: Arine McConico (Clifford) of Kansas City,
KS; one "special" sister, Emma Stovall of St. Louis, MO and a host Neices, Nephews, cousins, and friends.
