Mr. James Roy Evans, affectionately known as "Bug", was born February 28, 1965, in Odessa, Texas to the late Euleslie Evans and Freddie Beatrice Evans.

He attended Dalworth Elementary and later moved to Arlington Independent School District, where he graduated from Sam Houston High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1983-1985.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Joe Lewis, Euleslie, Jr., and Robert Earl.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons: Raymond and James, Jr.; one brother: Rayfield (Leah); one sister: Albertina Evans Sample; three grandchildren; special uncle: Joe Roy Evans; special aunt: Annie McFall; special cousins: Sue Baylor, Da'Mone Jones, Sissy Randolph and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends .
