James E. Strange was born December 1,1944 in Timpson, Texas to the parentage of the late Allison and Janie Mae Strange. He
heard the voice of his Heavenly Father on September 4, 2023, and peacefully answered the call. James attended Bourne Ave High School in Rockwall and graduated in 1965. James was united in holy matrimony to Margaret Ann Jones in 1962, and to this union five children were born. He loved the Lord and accepted Christ at Cedar Grove Christian Church in Rockwall, Texas. James was ordained and served under the late Pastor Gilbert Guidry. He was the elder at Jubilee Christian Fellowship and was called to Pastor at Helping Hand and
Settle Word Fellowship Church.

Preceding him in death was his mother Janie Mae (Roberts) Strange, his father Allison Strange, his brother Joe Earl Strange, his sisters Ruth Hazel
Betts, Dorthy Faye Epps, Anne Ruth Hickman, grandchild Brittney Strange and great grandchild Aiden Strange.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Strange; his sons Darrell Strange, Timothy Strange,
Steven Strange (Tanisha); daughters Regina Melton (Paul) and Karen Coleman; 21
grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
