Jarmar Trovass Hardy was born on May 24th, 1978, to Andre and Diane (Holder) Hardy in
Milwaukee, WI. He was the first of three children. His siblings included Tashiba (Rere) and Taia
(Twin).
Jarmar attended Garden Holmes Elementary, Eddison Middle School, and graduated from James
Madison High School, all in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jarmar had a love for sports. In his earlier life his
passion would lead him to play sports which included baseball for the Zimba Braves and basketball
for various leagues.
Jarmar was a dedicated hard working young man. He began his career at the young age of fifteen
where he started at McDonalds. By the age of seventeen he landed a career at Walgreens where he
worked his way up through various roles that led him to management where he excelled. In 2012, he
took a leap of faith to pursue something he was passionate about, which was the trucking industry.
His trucking career began with Swift where he drove for various companies such as JCPenney and
Walmart. He concluded his career with Warrior Logistics by way of FedEx. Over the course of his
career, he received various awards, the most recent being a safety award for reaching 750,000 miles.
His passion and love for working at Warrior Logistics showed in all that he did. He spoke highly of
this company with his most admirable moment being featured in a company commercial.
Jarmar married Shelia (Thomas) Hardy on April 21st, 2001. From this union three handsome boys
were born: Justin (Bun Bun), Shamar, and David. Jarmar had a deep passionate love for his family.
While he left us too soon, the impact he had on his family and friends will be felt for years to come. It
was just something different about him that made him the special person that he was. He loved
referring to his family as the
"
Family Business
".
His mission was to bring the family together. In his
leisure time, Jarmar enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He would host family gatherings and
loved watching his favorite teams play

s biggest accomplishments was being a father to his boys. He considered himself lucky
enough to have been an amazing father to Shamar. They devoted their lives to Christ together at
Progressive Baptist Church on September 7, 2014, under the leadership of Pastor Lanier of
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2016, together they decided to move from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
Arlington, Texas to start a new chapter. This move created a unique and unbreakable bond between
the two. He taught Shamar to be the great man he is today. He instilled the value and importance of
family and enjoying every moment that life has to offer. Shamar will treasure all the precious
moments they shared together such as prom, vacations, graduation, teaching him to drive and giving
him advice. His legacy will continue for generations to come.
Jarmar departed this life on Saturday April 22, 2023. He is proceeded in death by his grandfather E.B.
Barnett, great grandmother Lucille Walton, great grandfather A.B. Walton, grandfather James L.
Holder, grandmother Erma Gross and grandfather Arthur Joe Reid Jr.

of Arlington, TX and David of Milwaukee, WI; his parents Andre and Diane of Arlington, TX; sisters
Tashiba and Taia (Keith) of Arlington, TX; God sister Latia (Jon) of Grand Prairie, TX; Best friends
Javon (Andrea) of Louisburg, NC and Joseph (Fineice) of Milwaukee, WI; nephews Shaunie and
