IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jarron Dewayne
Norris Sr.
September 19, 1964 – May 31, 2025
Jarron Dewayne (JD) Norris, Sr. was born September 19, 1964 to Easter Lee Smith and the late Leonard S. Norris.
Jarron was baptized at an early age at Winnsboro Second Baptist Church.
Jarron grew to be an exceptional father, brother, husband uncle and friend. He was a great example of Acts 20:35 " It is more blessed to give than to receive". His kind heart, loving spirit, great sense of humor was how he continued to live and spread love throughout his peaceful and purposeful life. Known to many as "Deacon Norris" he was always ready and willing to help anyone in any way he could.
God blessed Jarron to experience the joy of being called Daddy, OleMan, Poppi and PawPaw by his children and grandchildren.
Jarron was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent decades excelling in his career. Known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and humility, he earned the respect of everyone he worked with and left a lasting impression wherever he went.
He leaves to mourn his memories; his companion, Jacqueline "Hunny" Dugan; sons, Jerrid (Brittany), Jaydetron (LeDarrion) and Jarron Norris, Jr. (Brea); daughter, Tori Norris (Michael) their mother Joyce; his mother, Easter Lee Smith; and two children God blessed him to rear, Latronda and Jessica; and a host of grandchildren.
His memory will also be cherished by his siblings: Larry Smith Sr., Percy Norris, Rosemary Smith, Kandee Smith, Ramona Smith Fields, Janice (Keith) Livingston, Sallie (Kenneth) Johnson and Chantel (Marvin) Scott and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
JD accepted his illness with patience and on May 31,2025 it was God's Will that the spirit of our loved one be removed from this place free of pain and sorrow. He will be deeply missed, and memories of him forever cherished.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.S. Norris; his sister, Glenda Smith Fuller, and J.J.'s mother, Alicia Potts.
