Jasmine Nicole
Denton
Sep 14, 1991 — Jun 27, 2026
Dr. Jasmine Nicole Denton entered this world on September 14, 1991, at Altus Air Force Base in Altus, Oklahoma, a joyful arrival who would grow up to leave an indelible mark on every person she encountered. At just six months old, she embarked on her first great adventure, traveling to Germany to join her father in service to his country. When his tour of duty concluded, the family returned home to Frederick, Oklahoma, where young Jasmine spent her early years and first blossomed into the bright, spirited child she was destined to be. At age nine, the family relocated to Arlington, Texas, where she was enrolled in the Mansfield Independent School District — a place that would help shape the extraordinary woman she would become.
Jasmine threw herself into the full life of her school years with characteristic enthusiasm and determination. She cheered on the sidelines, played basketball and softball, and ran track — all while keeping her eyes firmly fixed on a much larger goal. Her academic drive was evident from an early age; she had a deep, unwavering aspiration to become a doctor, and she never let that dream waver. She graduated from Timberview High School in 2009 and, that same fall, enrolled at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Her time at OU was a testament to her perseverance and intellect, and in 2016, she proudly earned her Bachelor of Science degree — a milestone that set the stage for even greater achievement.
Her journey to healing others continued as she was accepted into Parker University College of Chiropractic, where she pursued her calling with the same tenacity and heart that defined everything, she did. In 2019 she graduated with two Bachelor's Degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness from Parker University. In 2020, she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic — Dr. Jasmine Nicole Denton, DC — a title she had worked for with every ounce of her remarkable spirit. She went on to build her professional career at two chiropractic practices before finding her true professional home at Accident and Injury Chiropractic, where she proudly served as Director of the Cedar Hill clinic. There, she dedicated herself each day to helping patients recover from the pain and trauma of accidents, treating each person not merely as a patient, but as someone deserving of genuine care, dignity, and compassion. She did not simply treat injuries — she restored hope.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jasmine was the kind of person who made life richer for everyone around her. She was a caring and fiercely loyal friend, an extraordinary daughter, a devoted sister, a loving niece, a doting aunt, and a cherished cousin. She had an immense and tender heart for her beloved dogs, caring for them with the same warmth she extended to everyone she loved. And then there was her humor — a quick, contagious, and irresistible sense of fun that could send her entire family into fits of laughter until tears streamed down their faces. She was, in every sense of the word, a good person — genuinely, fundamentally, and beautifully good.
Dr. Jasmine Nicole Denton was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Margie Barry of Frederick Oklahoma and Barbara James of Alton, Illinois. who no doubt welcomed her home with open arms.
She leaves behind a circle of love that stretches wide and deep: her mother, Pamela Malvern (Arlington, TX); her father, Wesley C. Denton, Sr.; (El Paso, TX); one brother, Wesley C. Denton, Jr. (Nisey); two nieces, Riley and Maya; three aunts, Charleen Green, Shirley Ellington (Monty), Darlene Allen (William); and a cousin, Eboni Green (Arlington, TX); her best friend, Stacey Harris; two beloved god-sons, TJ Vinson and Julian Pugh; and a host of cousins, great aunts, one great uncle, and the cherished circle of friends she gathered so lovingly along her journey. She is sorely missed by all whose lives she graced, and her absence leaves a profound and irreplaceable stillness in the hearts of those who loved her most.
