Jeffery Bernard Brown, Jr. (Jay) was born on June 19, 1987 to Tante and Jeffrey Brown, Sr. He was born at Conway Memorial Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana. While in the Monroe area, he attended Lincoln Elementary School. In early 1991 his family moved to the Dallas area where he received his formal education in the Richardson Independent School District. Of most importance, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very early age.

Jeffery was a very outgoing person and well known to many as every outgoing individual who loved life and his family.

He was preceded in death by, his grandmother Betty Ann Jones; grandfathers: James Louis Gipson and Claude Brown; great grandmother Hazel Lewis; great-great grandmother Tinnie Alford Thomas; aunt Ruth Williams; three uncles: Sebastian "Toby" Caston, Darryl Reedy, Sr and Bobby Joe Theus, Sr.; two great uncles: Donnie Ray Lewis and Felma Lewis.

Jeffery leaves to cherish his memories, mother Tante Lane (Billy Lane, Jr.); father Jeffrey Brown, Sr. (LaTonia); grandmother Norma Brown; two beautiful daughters: JeCayla Brown and Je'Niyah Brown and their mother BaShanna O'Neal; two brothers: Jermaine Louis and Joshua Brown (Shawndella) one sister: Shanell Hannah and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.
