IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeremy Amaud
Modester
November 17, 1986 – July 7, 2024
Jeremy Amaud Modester was born November 17, 1986 to the
parentage of Marsha Adkins and Dwight Jackson.
Jeremy grew up and resided in Dallas, Texas. He received his
formal education in the Dallas Independent School District where he
attended Lincoln High School.
Jeremy accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized and became a
member of Greater Mount Pilgrim Church in Dallas, Texas under the
leadership of Pastor Ned Armstrong, Jr.
Jeremy was a loving, kindhearted and outgoing father, grandfather, son,
brother and friend. His encouraging words and beautiful smile brought
peace and joy to everyone he encountered. He had a giving spirit and
would offer help and assistance to anyone who needed it. Jeremy
cherished spending quality time with family and friends. He loved
watching football & basketball and listening to music. He was
adventurous and enjoyed trying different restaurants with different
cuisines.
Jeremy sadly left our world on July 7, 2024, at 6:44 p.m. He transitioned
peacefully to his new heavenly home. He is preceded in death by his
grandmother, Leatha Burts; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Jeremy leaves the following to cherish his memories: five children of
whom he adored, Jeremy Modester, Jr., Kharisma Rabb, Jeremiah
Modester, Jaivion Rickett and Jordyn Bailey; two grandchildren,
London Modester and Jeremiah Modester, Jr.; his loving mother,
Marsha Adkins; his father, Dwight Jackson; sisters, Markala Adkins,
Victoria Jackson and India Jackson; brothers, Mark Adkins, Jr.,
Dominic Pipkins and Dwight Jackson, Jr. ; and a host of uncles, aunts,
cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Jeremy's demise is a profound loss, but his spirit lives on in the lives of
the people he touched.
As we gather here today to say our goodbyes, let
us remember the laughter, love, and joy he brought into our lives.
Rest in paradise, Jeremy. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
