Jerrell Jones was born on October 31, 1960, to the late David F. Jones, Sr. and the late Billie Jean Jones in Dallas, Texas.

Jerrell loved the Lord, good music, and the great Dallas Cowboys.

On July 17, 2020, Mr. Jones departed this life and went home to live in his Heavenly Mansion. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Bille Jones, brother David F. Jones, Jr. and Darrell Jones, nephew Dennis L. Meshack.

He leaves to cherish his memories, five sisters: Alice Meshack, Linda Cartwright (Michael), Sarah Johnson (Kenneth), Shelia Collins (Darryl) and Theresa Nelms (Rodney); one sister-in-law Demita Jones; nieces: LaShuniqual, Traneshia, Kamesha, Tamara, Tamekia, Alexandria, Davondra, and Desiree; nephews: Darryl II,  David III, Erik, and Kenny; twenty-two great-nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
