Obituary

On February 23, 1958, in Waco, Texas an angel was born to Johnnie and Willisana Garrett, their firstborn who they named, "Jewel".

Jewel graduated from Richfield High School in Waco, Texas, and later moves to Dallas, Texas where she enjoyed and continued her many talents in cooking, sewing, knitting, crochet, and embroidery.

A beautiful life came to an end on June 5, 2020. Jewel is preceded in death by her oldest son Rashad Cooper in 2011 and son Demetrius Majors in 1983.

Those left to cherish precious memories of Jewel are, her parents Johnnie Garret (Penny) and Willisana Majors (Willie); two sons: Jauron Cooper and Damius Majors (Tacresha); siblings: Everett Keith Garret, Eulonda Bryant (Reginald), and Orion Bowers (Victoria); grandchildren: Garrett, Madison, London, Layla, and Logan; nephews: Braison Bryant, Damon Bryant, Torian Bowers and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
