J oe Warren was born on May 4, 1946 in Linden, Texas to the late Odis Warren and Julia Herman. He received his formal education in the Royse City Public School System.

In 1965 he was united in holy matrimony to Faye Medford and to their union four children were born. They were married for 28 years and they remained friends for many years.

Joe worked for Garland Independent School District for 25 years. He also worked for the City of Garland for 5 years.

He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and was a faithful member until his health begin to fail. He was a great man, a devoted father, loving uncle and great friend. He will be greatly missed.

Joe is preceded in death by two sisters: Velma Lean and Bessie; one brother Howard Warren.

He leaves to cherish four children: Priscilla Warren, Joe Warren, Jr., Rodney Warren and Helen (Bay Bay) (Sam); two sisters: Sophie Gardner and Molly Holton and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
