John Edward Redic, Jr. "Buggie" was born on March 3, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to the parents of John Edward Redic Sr. and Pervie Lee Redic of Garland, Texas. He received his education in the Dallas Independent School District. John married Mary Conaway in 1984.

John was an entrepreneur whether it be a mechanic, licensed contractor, or truck driver he was a Jack of all trades. He was a hard worker since the age of 13. He was a big brother of 10, father, son, uncle, cousin and friend.  John was an avid visionary, and he loved to sing and entertain.

John is preceded in death by his father John Edward Redic Sr., and one sister Gwendolyn James.

John Edward Redic, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories his mother Pervie Lee Redic of Garland, Texas; three sons: Bobby Hughes (Zenobia Hughes) of Desoto, Texas, William Redic of Dallas, Texas and James Redic of Palestine, Texas; one daughter: Robbie Redic AKA "Pebbles" of Palestine, Texas.; five sisters: Charntelle Richards, Sharon Fountain (Clarence Fountain), Cherish Redic, Ivory Redic and Susanna Redic; four brothers: Derwin Redic (Linda Redic), Steve Redic, Marlon Redic (Kimberly Redic), all of Garland, Texas and Timothy Redic. John also leaves to cherish his memories four grandchildren, Jasmyne and Justyn Hughes, Derek Davis Jr. and Marquez Dawson, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Buggie we will miss you very much. You always made us laugh. There was never a dull moment when you were around.
