A Glimpse at the Life of
John Michael Strader
Our young man passed away on February 17th, 2023 in Gun Barrell City,
Texas in a car accident. He was born on August 22, 1997 in Oberlin
Heights Ohio to Linda Sue Byrne and Larry Strader.
He is proceeded death by his Grandparents Rita and Robert Strader as
well as his Aunt Melissa McCasland. He has left behind three children: a
daughter Serenidy by mother Taleaha Chancellor, as well as two sons
Mateo and Alec by Jasmine Rubio; his sister is Shyanna Byrne, as well
as his brother Chris Strader with his wife Teri and children Andrew,
Amethyst and Lewis. John comes from a large family to include his
grandparents Linda & Alvin Byrne, Aunts and Uncles and over thirty
cousins.
John spent his early years in Ohio before moving to Texas. He attended
East Plano Schools. He worked as a mechanic for several years at
different shops, but his latest job was at Kwik Kar in Gun Barrel, Texas.
We would like to extend our love and appreciation to all whom have sent
well wishes to our entire family in this hard time. With extra thanks to
the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, The Texas DPS Officers, The
Forensics Lab of Mesquite and Heavenly Gate Funeral Services of
Garland, Texas. We would also like to extend our appreciation to the
people who saw this accident and tried to assist our thoughts and prayers
are with you also we know how difficult it is to see and we really thank
you!
