Joseph Michael Adkins better known as JoJo aka JoJo Demaggio was born on May 31, 1985 in Dallas, TX to Ulester Garry and Ernestine Adkins.

JoJo was a gentle, kind and compassionate young man with a heart of gold who tried his best to find the positive in any situation. He was quiet in nature until you mentioned something he was fond of, then he would talk your ear off. JoJo had a special bond with his niece Ashley; he loved her dearly and she loved him right back! He enjoyed watching movies, sports and was an avid WWE fan. He loved his wrestling on Friday nights.

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the Lord called JoJo's name. He answered the call and went home to eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his father, Ulester Garry who passed on August 10, 2021 and a sister, Tracy Adkins who passed on March 9, 1997.

JoJo is survived by his mother, Ernestine Adkins; sister, Prudence Freeman; brothers, Nicholas Harper and Ron (Justice) Adkins, Jr.; nieces, Ashley Adkins and Kristi James; grandnieces, Somi Harper, Remi Harper and Arianna Adkins; nephews, Justice Freeman, Jaylen Freeman and Johnnie Freeman; and a host of other relatives and friends.

JoJo's life was a true blessing. His love for family and friends was indisputable and his smile would light up the room. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
