Joseph Coverson, 65, of McKinney, Texas passed away on December 12, 2019. Joseph was born on March 30, 1954 in McKinney, Texas to Willie Lee and Shirley T. (Timmons) Jackson.

Joseph dedicated his life to Jesus Christ at an early age and rededicated his life to Christ just a few days before his passing. He was a devoted husband, loving father and loved his family. He loved to play the drums, guitar, piano, and the harmonica. He was a member of Owens Chapel Church of God in Christ, where he faithfully played the drums. He was a hard worker and worked for Goodwill in McKinney for 12 years.

On November 25, 2011, he married the love of his life, Margaret (May) Coverson.

He preceded in death by his father Willie Timmons, four aunts, two uncles, one grandson, grandmother and grandfather.

Joseph is survived by, his wife of 8 years: Margaret Coverson of McKinney, TX.; six daughters: Kathy Mosely of Coffeyville, KS., Ramona Clark of Garland, TX., Ann Wilson of Georgia, Shirley Clark of Garland, TX., Emerald Timmons and Nashea Timmons both of Los Angeles, CA.; four sons; mother Shirley Jackson; uncle Tommy Hargraves; siblings: Roy Jackson, Tyrone Jackson both of Victorville, CA., Mert Timmons of Denison, TX., Willmeia Dixon of Louisiana, Betty Mouton of Phoenix, AZ., Kathy Timmons of El Monte, Shanta Jackson of Pacomia, CA., and Berry Jackson or Georgia; a host of grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
