Joshua Lamond Davis was born on November 5, 1986 to Michael Davis and Ernestine Pooler in Dallas, Texas. He received his formal education in the Garland Independent School District and graduated from Garland High School in 2005.

He accepted Christ at an early age. He was a loyal and faithful member of The Chosen Church until his health failed. He met and married the love of his life, Chrystal Bates and they had the pleasure of being the parents of two beautiful girls.

Joshua enjoyed playing his Play Station, listening, dancing, and telling stories from his past. He loved his kids and spent time with them every chance he could. He will be remembered by his huge smile and very contagious laughter.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ernestine Pooler, grandmother Izorna Pooler and his brother Ernest Pooler.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Chrystal Bates; two daughters: Alasia Davis and Kaylee Casebolt; two sisters: Tatiunna Davis and Fara Pooler; one brother: Thomas Wright; five nieces: Ernestine Sanders, Aleah Bates, Breanna Carr, Aniya Wright and Daivian Johnson; five nephews: Dontrelle Sanders, Andrew Sanders, Qwaveyoune Pooler, Daquan Ross and Thomaz Wright and a host of other relatives and friends.
