Obituary

Juan "Juanito" Jaime Merino Jr, age twenty-one passed
away Monday, November 21, 2022.
Juan was born August 10, 2001 in Arlington, Texas to Arelis
Skerritt, Jaime Merino and Brad Washington. He became Big
#4 out of what is now six beautiful children.
He loved sports and personal fitness. He exceled in everything
he did. He could dominate any position on the football field
and basketball court.
Juan graduated in 2020 from Grand Prairie High School in
Grand Prairie, Texas with honors. He continued his
education at Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas.
Juanito has always been a hardworking young man. He made
sure he stayed on track and was on the road to success.
He was an active member of the Morning Star Missionary
Baptist Church in Grand Prairie (Dalworth), Texas. He kept a
close relationship with God. He always felt that it was
important to attend Church. He was truly a "Warrior" for the
Lord. Nothing could stop him from being in the House of the
Lord on Sunday mornings to worship and give God praise.
Preceded in death by Fransisca Diaz and Pedro Skerritt, Juan
will live on through his Mother, Father, Brothers, Sisters and
Grandparents Mary and Bobby Washington. He will forever
be here when you see us.
Juan's favorite Bible verse and one that he lived by was:
"I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me"
