IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juanaquee Lanetra
Jones
July 29, 1980 – December 10, 2024
Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and sister in the Lord to the sisters and brothers of New Jerusalem C.O.G slipped into the arms of our precious Lord Jesus Christ on 12.10.2024 after a long illness.
Juanaquee became a member of New Jerusalem Church of God at the young age of 16 years and has been a light to the church members in so many ways. One way was how she said hello; she woud use her three fingers pointing at them saying "Hi". She had her moments repeating Pastor Young when it was time to go on church vacation by saying "Let's Roll". She could be very hilarious at times and say something shocking, something totally unexpected from her. She would ask different ones for pictures because she loved taking pictures, especially with Sis. Young.
Juanaquee was loved by everyone within the Church and outside the Church. Everywhere she went, she would leave a sweet fragrance of love to be felt by those she encountered. Juanaquee has left us with many good memories that will never be forgotten. She fought a long, hard battle and now her day of rest has come. She is now free!
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, an aunt and an uncle.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, John Quincy Jones and Valerie Jones; brothers, Jerome Johnson, John Quincy Jones, Jr. (Devin); aunts, Geraldine Cargo, Angel Reed and Staci Jamison; uncle, Eugene W. Blackwood; great nephew, Jeremiah Jones; great niece, Justice Maria Carroll; special nieces, Jasmine D. Jones, Shatoria Johnson; special nephews, DeJohn Quicy Edward Jones, D'Michael A. Jones, Diaab Paris, Jerome Nash, D'Marcus Johnson, Darnell Johnson; special friend and caregiver, Valiara Wilson and Dr. Faheema Hanna; special friend, Sis. Charlie Mae Lockett, and a host of other relatives and church family who loved her dearly.
Sweet, sweet rest, Juanaquee, we love you. See you at your new address.
