Remembering Our Beloved Judith M. Baker Ford
Judith M. Baker Ford, 67 was born in Texarkana, TX, and later made
her home in Mesquite, TX where she built a life filled with love,
laughter and cherished memories.
Judy received her formal education at Lincoln High School and later
retired from Dry Master Carpet and Restoration after years of
dedicated service. She was known for her warm heart, radiant smile,
and one-of-a-kind laughter that could brighten even the darkest days.
Judy loved music and found great joy in spending time with her
family. She never met a stranger, bringing warmth and kindness to
everyone she encountered.
Judy had a deep love for fashion and always took pride in her
appearance. No matter the occasion, she was always dressed to
impress, ensuring she looked gorgeous until her very last days.
She was a devoted member of Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church.
Her faith was everything to her, and she continuously prayed for her
family, covering them with love and protection. Those prayers
continue to sustain her family today, serving as a guiding light in their
lives.
In her later years, she cherished every moment with her grandchildren
and great-grandchildren fully embracing her role as the heart of the
family.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Ford; beloved
daughter, Constance Baker; her mother, Earlene E. Baker Roberts; her
father, Lewis Tomlin; and her brother, James (Mickey) Baker.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her
aunt, Bernice Baker (Aunt Bon) who stepped into the role of a mother
after Earlene's passing; her daughters, Conswella "PoohPooh" (Kevin)
Broadnax, Chasidy (Jordan) Robertson; five grandchildren, Sgt. 1st
Class Jacorian Baker, Keldra Baker and Keundra (Marland)
Montgomery, Rain and Leah Robertson; five great-grandchildren,
Karter, Marland, Kaliyah, Kace, and Kalani.
