Julia Jones Walker (better known as tuit) was born on July 7, 1947, to Veada Jasper Jones and Collie Jones Sr. in Alderbranch, TX.

She went to Union Hope Elementary and later to Henry High School. She then moved to Palestine Texas and graduated from A.M Story High.  After graduation, she married James Edward Walker. She moved to Dallas Texas and had four children. Debra Jones of Houston Texas, Jacqueline Walker of Dallas Texas, Sharon Walker of Dallas Texas and Antony Walker of Dallas Texas, who precedes her in death.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing dominoes.

On November 22, 2019, she was called home to her heavenly father. We thank God for her and the life she lived, one that exemplified love for God and her family.

She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father. Four sisters, Dora Ann Jones, Diann Jones, Corestta Jones Birdow, and Ada Anderson. Five Brothers, R.D Jones, Travis Jones, Collie Jones Jr, Jerry Jones, and C.J Jones.

She has 8 grandchildren, Twanda Jones, Letoyer Jones, Crystal Jones, Curtis Jones and Semone Henry, all of Houston Texas. As well as, Tony Walker, Tyrenceia Jefferson, and Pleshae Brown of Dallas Texas. She has 9 great grandchildren. She is survived by her one brother C.W Jones of Dallas Texas, her sisters Irish Birdow, Dora Jones Gray of Houston Texas. As well, as a host of nieces, nephew, in laws, cousins, and friends.
