IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kameesha Lashay
Woodard
August 9, 1989 – March 6, 2024
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born Ecclesiastes 3:1
Kameesha LaShay Woodard was born on August 9, 1989 to her proud mother, Bertha Harrison. She was raised by her Mom and her stepfather, Patrick Harrison in Fort Worth, Texas. She brought so much joy to her mother, Bertha who nurtured her to be an intelligent, beautiful, honest and independent young lady. She confessed Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at a young age.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: 1 Corinthians 13:11
Kameesha received her formal education in the Fort Worth Inde-pendent School District. She attended Everman High School and graduated from Fort Worth Charter School in 2007. As a young girl, Kameesha loved dressing up, bonding and hanging with her siblings and friends. Kameesha had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor and a caring spirit. She brought light and joy to people around her.
Kameesha was blessed with a handsome baby boy on May 25, 2008. Her pride and joy was her son, Zenas Guy Howard, Jr.! She was a determined and a devoted mother who always put the care of her son before herself. She loved her son and would do anything for him. She taught him to be a strong, loving, and kindhearted young man making being his mother her greatest accomplishment.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 2 Timothy 4:6
With peace and calmness, Kameesha fell asleep and went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 6th, 2024. Kameesha is now reunited with her grandparents, Sarah Jewell Perkins and Frank Gomez; great aunts, Jonell Joory and Peggy Perkins and other relatives of whom greeted her at Heaven's gates.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:18
Kameesha leaves to cherish her memories: her handsome son, Zenas Guy Howard, Jr.; devoted mother, Bertha Harrison; stepfather, Pat-rick Harrison; father, Troy Deon Woodard; sisters, Latrice Conley (Kevin), Sarah Wheatfall-Ross (Monisha); brothers, Damorian Hall and Davion Hall; aunt, Shronda Perkins; cousins, Yasmine Redic, Ladarious Perkins, and Danielle Neal and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kameesha did all that she could to be the best mother and friend that anyone could ask for. Now, she has gone to a better place…a place where there's no more sickness, no more heartaches, no more pain. She's in Heaven where there's joy, peace and love. She is now our guardian angel.
Kameesha will be looking over us and waiting for us as well. We will miss her dearly. She will always and forever be in our hearts.
Sleep well our Leo Queen.
