Ms. Kathy Valentine was born on January 6, 1952, in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of the late Roosevelt Valentine and Willie Ruth Valentine. She had a younger brother, Kenneth Valentine who preceded her in death.

Ms. Kathy received her formal education from the Dallas Public School System.

She was devoted to caring for and raising her children to be strong and independent individuals. She was the epitome of a strong black woman. She was dedicated to her family and would do anything for anyone.

The angels welcomed Ms. Kathy to Heaven on June 5, 2022.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Ulanda Valentine Davis, Bronsha Valentine, and Dementria Valentine; grandchildren:  Jasemine Davis, Jateria Davis, Devontae Valentine, Joushae Shorts, Shaiveon Shorts, Bronshae Valentine, Khole Valentine, Brawshay Smith, and Nanale Valentine. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives, and friends.
