A Glimpse at the Life of
Kaulisha R. Reed
Kaulisha Roshaun Reed was born on March 30, 1977 in Dallas, Texas
to the parentage of Jean and Richard Reed. Kaulisha received a high
school education at Skyline High School (Dallas), graduating in the
Mighty Class of 1995, which she remained friends and in close
contact with for life. She furthered her education by taking classes at
East Field Community College and attended Stanford Brown Institute
(Dallas) where she received a Certificate for Medical Assistant and
Coding. Kaulisha worked in the medical field before beginning a
career with the U.S. Postal Service in Dallas, Texas later transferring
to Panama City, Florida where she absolutely loved the beaches and
her co-workers. She planned on eventually retiring from the Panama
City Postal Service (on the beach), until her life took a turn with an
illness that forced her to return home to Dallas, Texas where she was
cared for and surrounded by her loving family that she was always
very close to.
Kaulisha accepted Christ at an early age at the Bethlehem Christian
Church of McKinney, Texas, serving in the youth department and
rendering her beautiful voice in songs. She had a heart of gold, a
caring spirit and was a gift of inspiration to many during her life's
journey here on earth. Word is that on Facebook she had tens of
thousands of followers, many of whom she either did not know or
would come to know later, as they looked to her page daily and
invited others for a guaranteed laugh or therapeutic feel-good
moments. Kaulisha's parents only learned of how humorous she was
after receiving numerous calls throughout the years from relatives and
close friends who would be so full of laughter that they could not stop
laughing to complete their story of what she had said/posted for the
day. Lately, they spoke of how sad they were, missing her daily
inspiring messages once she left Facebook to move back home to
Dallas. She was truly loved and will be missed by many.
Kaulisha leaves to cherish her memories her children Jordan Morris,
Leroyce Seals, Terrell Williams and Timothy Chancellor, III;
Timothy Chancellor, Jr., the father of her son Timothy; her parents
Jean and Richard Reed; sisters Kimberly Reed and Kandice Gainer
(James); and a host of relatives and friends.
