On June 22, 1959, Lucye Mae William Smith and Leonard Smith introduced the world to a beautiful loving angel named Kaye Sharon Smith, born at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Kaye attended North Grand Prairie High School.

Kaye Smith, affectionately known as KayKay, was a very headstrong and independent woman. KayKay helped so many people, family, friends and non-family members. She would give her last to help any one of us, no matter what it was that you needed.

On August 15th, 2025, the heavenly gates opened wide to receive a beautiful, loving soul. Kaye Smith, you have gained your wings and much more. Fly high and reunite with your family that are waiting for you.

Kaye was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend, cousin, and all the above. Kaye Smith will truly be missed and loved.
