IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kedrayn Terrell
Blueford
February 16, 2003 – May 24, 2024
The family requests that those who attend the service for Mr. Blueford wear light blue.
The Life of a Young King
Kedrayn Terrell Blueford was born February 16th, 2003 to
Tanada Lasha Mays at Baylor University Medical Center
on Gaston Avenue in Dallas, Texas. Kedrayn was the 2nd
born baby (B), five minutes after his twin brother
Kenteraus Terrez Blueford (KT) was born.
Kedrayn (KD as he was affectionately known) grew up and lived in
Irving, Grand Prairie and Arlington, Texas and New Orleans
(Louisiana). Most of KD's childhood was spent in the Dallas-Fort
Worth Metroplex area. He attended Uplift Summit International
Preparatory School until his family moved to New Orleans. KD
attended Renew Cultural Arts Academy for middle school, and L. B.
Landry High School while residing in New Orleans. In September
2002, KD and his family relocated to Texas where he continued his
education at Saginaw High School. Kedrayn graduated and received
his High School Diploma on June 3rd, 2022.
By nature Kedrayn was a quiet, soft spoken person until he got to
know you. KD loved spending quality time with family and friends.
He enjoyed playing video games, basketball, exploring the outdoors,
and other outdoor activities, such walking and riding his bike in the
neighborhood and on trails.
Kedrayn was a loving, and kindhearted son, brother, grandson, nephew
and friend. He would offer help and assistance to anyone who needed
it.
His aspirations in life were to go to College to pursue a career as a
Gaming Designer. In June 2023, Kedrayn relocated to Houston to live
with his uncle, and work toward his goals/dreams.
On Friday, May 24, 2024, God called Kedrayn home; and on this day
he gained his wings. Kedrayn is preceded in death by his uncle, Gerry
Mays.
Kedrayn is survived by his mother, Tanada Mays; siblings, Kenteraus
Blueford (Twin), Jessica Mays, Elijah Mays, Jada Mays and Ja'Mia
Mays; grandparents, Barbara Mays (Gerry Johnson), Steven McDaniel
(Gale McDaniel); great grandmother, Essie Railey; uncles, Steven
McDaniel, Jr. and Thomas Oftedal; aunts, Jasmarie Mays and Kiera
McDaniel; great aunts, Debra Railey, Sherita Ross, Maplelean Briggs;
great uncles, Marvin Owens and Raymond Anderson; and a host of
cousins, other relatives and friends.
Kedrayn's demise is a profound loss, but his spirit lives on in the lives
of the people he touched. As we gather here today to say our
goodbyes, let us remember the laughter, love, and joy they brought into our lives.
Rest in paradise, KD. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
