On December 24, 1979, Kenneth Journ Emory entered this world as a cherished son of Annie
Jackson and Kenneth Emory Rufus in McKinney, Texas.

Kenneth spent his childhood in Greenville, TX and attended school in Greenville, TX. He was
baptized at an early age and became a member at Floyd Valley Baptist Church in Marietta, TX.

Kenneth was an all-around laid-back guy. He loved his family and friends. He had a loving, kind
heart and was always willing to help anyone. Life threw him a few challenges that many would
find insurmountable, however, in his struggles, he demonstrated what it means to embrace life
wholeheartedly and live each day as if it were a precious gift.

Kenneth transitioned from his earthly life on May 16, 2025. Awaiting Kenneth in eternal rest are
his grandparents, Helen R. Titus and Varice Monday, Charlie Emory and Betty Jo Emory; sister,
Ashley Emory; two brothers, Timothy Howard and Edward Williams, Jr.

Kenneth leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Annie Jackson (Atlanta, TX);
father, Kenneth Emory (McCook, NE); four sisters, LaTonya Emory-Rodgers (Frisco, TX),
Cassie Emory-Richardson (Florida), Kristi Horsley (Douglassville, TX), and Shayla Emory
(McCook, NE); eight brothers, Cory Emory (Denton, TX), Cliff Emory (Arlington, TX),
Jonathan and Paul Monday (Greenville, TX), Keith Howard (Caddo Mills, TX), Kendrick
Howard (Arkansas), Andre Cole (Kingston, OK), Tre Cole (Lubbock, TX); and a host of aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kenneth was loving, kind and courageous. He made us laugh with joy and now our tears are
filled with sadness, but also with gratitude for all the memories he gave us. He will always be
remembered, always be missed, and forever be cherished. His spirit and love will forever shine
in our hearts.

Rest in peace, our dear Kenneth.
