Kevin Dale Havis "Sput" was born December 26, 1958, to the late Issac Jackson and Fleta Havis in Dallas, Texas. He was raised in the Douglas Community of Plano, Texas where he also received his education in the Plano Independent School District.

After graduating from high school, Kevin joined the U.S. Air Force. Later, he met Cassandra in 1983 and they joined in marriage on March 23, 1983. Kevin completed 22 years U.S.A.F. Upon returning, he attended Christ for the Nations where he received his Practical Theology Diploma, and Dallas Baptist University where he received his Bachelor of Arts and Science.

Kevin's charisma, love for people, and great leadership skills positioned him to meet and develop a long-lasting relationship. Throughout his life, he desired to help people find their passion.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Cassandra; two sisters: Pamela Redic (Matthew) and Felicia Barnes; one brother: Richard Havis; other siblings on his father's side, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
