Kirby Flynn
Sherman
October 21, 1963 – May 21, 2020

Kirby was baptized at an early age at St. James Baptist Church in Uptown New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Walter L. Cohen High School and he was well known and knew everybody. Kirby worked various jobs around the city, if you went anywhere near Canal and Rampart Street, you would've definitely seen him standing by Popeye's running his mouth. He returned to New Orleans just before Hurricane Katrina and evacuated to Dallas, Texas with his mother and brothers. He lived and worked in the Dallas and Richardson areas before moving to Ausitn, Texas where he remained until his passing on May 21, 2020.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, Willie and Mary J. Sherman.
Kirby leaves to mourn his passing, his son Kamal Hampton; daughter Keatora Hampton (mother of children Janetta Hampton); four brothers: Kenneth W. Sherman, Sr. (Cynthia), Terence R.
