On February 1, 1973, LaKendra Ann Jones was born to the parentage of Carlis Dwain Lauderdale
and Flora Lauderdale in Dallas, Texas.

LaKendra received her formal education in the Hurst Euless Bedford Independent School District.
She was a graduate of Trinity High School's Class of 1991. She was employed at Fed Ex until
her health declined.

LaKendra accepted Christ at an early age and followed Him all her life. She joined IBOC
(Inspiring Body of Christ Church) and was an active member for many years. She counted it as a
joy to be able to serve and provide assistance while meeting the needs of others in her community.
She loved the Lord and was faithful and committed to serving Him.

Other past times were spent with her Mom and sister. She and Mother Flora enjoyed going out to
eat and shopping. She never shopped for items for herself. She shopped pretty much for her children and grandson. She loved spending time with her family and would often be the first person
to arrive at any family event.

LaKendra was the mother of two loving children Jamie and Dominique. She was an amazing
mother who extended her love to her grandson, De'Trell. She always made sure they were well
taken care of, and their needs were met; often times working two jobs to do it. There was nothing
they asked for she wouldn't provide.

She enjoyed taking walks in the park with her grandson while enjoying nature. She loved taking
De'Trell with her because he loved playing at the park. She enjoyed seeing how happy he was being footloose and fancy-free! LaKendra fully embraced both the great joys and deep sorrows
along her life's journey, counting them all as part of God's perfect plan for her life.

On November 26, 2023, the one we knew and loved left us in the flesh to join our Father in Heaven. LaKendra was greeted at Heaven's gate by her father Carlis D. Lauderdale.

LaKendra leaves to cherish her memories: her beautiful children Jamie Jones (Anthony);
Dominique Pinckney; and grandson De'Trell Osborne; mother Flora Lauderdale; loving sister
Carla Lauderdale (Johnny); nephews Dejon and Keshawn Roberson and a host of uncles, aunts,
cousins and friends.

We will remember LaKendra as a selfless, kind, loving and strong God fearing mother with a generous spirit who loved and cherished her family and would always lend a helping hand.

LaKendra lived as long as God saw fit for her to be on Earth, and we will rest in peace knowing
she is no longer suffering. The memories she leaves behind will be a lasting treasure for generations to come.

LaKendra, you can now take your rest with our Heavenly Father.
