Lena Ruth Brisco "Ruth" was born in Marshall, Texas to the proud parentage of Joseph Patrick and Gladys White. She spent her early childhood in Marshall, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Dalworth Park Church of Christ.

Ruth was united in holy matrimony to her soulmate, Bobby Brisco, on July 27, 1967, and to this union two children were born. She devoted her life to her husband and children.

Ruth's journey on earth was one marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Patrick and Gladys White; husband, Bobby Brisco; brothers, Henry White and Theorther White; sisters, Gloria Perry, Juanita Wilson, Edna Cofer, Miree Faye Pipkins and Iree Gay Young.

Ruth leaves the following to cherish her precious memories: a devoted son, Anthony Brisco; a loving daughter, Deshan Brisco; a grandson, Brandon Brisco; one brother, Alvin White; one sister, Darlene Richards; a special niece, Brittany Talley; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Those who knew Lena Ruth Brisco will remember her smile, laughter, strong sense of values and quiet nature. The memories she leaves behind will be a lasting treasure for a lifetime to come.
