On May 1, 1963, Lucye Mae Williams-Smith and Leonard Smith introduced the world to a loving angel named Leonard Smith Jr. born at Parkland Hospital in Dallas and raised in Grand Prairie, TX. Leonard attended North Grand Prairie High School for three years where he was an outstanding football player, he later moved back to Dallas, Texas, where he graduated from James Madison High School.

Leonard better known as "Uncle Jr.", and "Cowboy", had an amazing personality and was sure to make everyone smile. Uncle Jr. was always moving fast no matter what and could dance his behind off. Cowboy made sure that his sons and grandsons could dance they're behind off too! Uncle Jr was always smiling you couldn't help but smile back at him.

On November 18, 2021, the Heavenly Gates opened wide to receive a beautiful soul, Leonard Smith Jr. It gives us so much comfort to know he's walking around heaven in a better place and watching over us, so keep smiling through our tears. Leonard a beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, will live in our hearts
