IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lewis Louie
Jeffery Harge
May 6, 1959 – February 9, 2020
Lewis Louie Jeffery Harge was born on May 6, 1959, to James Harge and Louise Campbell who preceded him death. He was a 1977 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He later attended Eastfield Junior College from 1977 to 1979.
Lewis worked at J.C. Penny and Mobil Oil for a number of years.
He is survived by six siblings, Mable Armstrong, Margaret Howard, Pamela Jefferson, James Campbell, Thester Campbell, Reginald Harge and numerous cousins. He left behind four nieces, Tammy Hardge Stephenson, Kissi Jones. Angela Grant and Tia BuChan, and six nephews, Billy Hardge, Jr., Pete Howard, Jason Jackson, Jared Jefferson, Jeffrey Jefferson, and Jeffrey Campbell.
Lewis was a very giving, generous and unselfish person. He would give to others and deny himself. Like most of us, he had his moments, but his heart was always in the right place. As a young child he was very funny, always providing laughter as we prepared for bed.
As an adult, the laughter never stopped. He could find something comical about any situation. He was the life of the party. He loved and was loved by his family and friends. He may be gone but truly not forgotten. He will always have a special place in our hearts.
Lewis, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life. You are what we needed in our lives. Rest in peace. You deserve it. Now, it's your time to make God laugh at your jokes.
