A Life Well Lived
An Amazing, Loving, Compassionate and Kind Mother,
Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born Ecclesiastes 3:1
Lisa Lonya Wright was born on was born on July 23,1969 to
the parents of Joe Paul (who proceeded her in death) and
Shirley Wright. Lisa accepted Christ as her personal Savior
at an early age at Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church
in Grand Prairie, TX, of which was founded by her
grandfather (Joe Paul Wright). Lisa was the oldest
granddaughter as well as her parent's oldest child.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a
child, I thought as a child: 1 Corinthians 13:11
Lisa received her formal education in the Grand Prairie
Independent School District and graduated from Sam
Houston High School in 1987. Lisa was diagnosed with
cancer at an early age, she fought tirelessly and ALWAYS
kept a smile on her face. Even though she was diagnosed she
continued to work for the GPISD Transportation Department
and in 2023 she obtained her CDL along with becoming a
Certified Driving Instructor.

Lisa was blessed with three loving children of whom were
her pride and joy! She was a determined and a devoted
mother who always put the care of her children before
herself. She loved her children and would do anything for
them. She taught them to be strong, loving, and kindhearted
individuals making being their mother her greatest
accomplishment.

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my
departure is at hand. 2 Timothy 4:6
With peace and calmness, Lisa fell asleep and went to be
with our Lord and Savior on November 6, 2024. Lisa is now
reunited with her grandparents, Rev. Wright & Thelma
Wright, O.D. & Mary Taylor; her brother, Paul Frye; her
niece, Versachia Denise Bryant; and a special sister friend,
Phyllis Renae Roberts; and other relatives who greeted her at
Heaven's gates.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John
14:18
Lisa leaves to cherish her memories: her loving mother,
Shirley Wright (Bruce); her one and only beautiful daughter,
Clameka Wright; her two handsome sons, Tevin Wright and
DeVonte Wright-Whatley; her sweet Goddaughter, Zaria
McClain; two special daughters, Winde Hayden and
Quanisha Bryant; three handsome grandsons, Geraci, Kashus
and Seven; two precious granddaughters, Nevaeh and
Bryn'Lee; two sisters, Keisha Crowder (Jamarr) and Robin
Frye; a stepsister, Erica Green-Bryant and brother, Darren
Frye; along with a host of nieces, nephews cousins and
friends.

Lisa did all that she could to be the best mother and friend
that anyone could ask for. She is now our guardian angel of
whom will be looking over us and waiting for us as well. We
will miss her dearly. She will always and forever be in our
hearts.

Sleep well our Leo Queen.
