Lois J. Brown Whitlock was born September 9, 1941 in Bearden, Arkansas to
Earnest and Ada Brown. She was the youngest of nine (9) children. She
accepted Christ as her Personal Savior at an early age.

In 1961, she met and married Ulysses Whitlock and to this union four children
were born – David (Jacqueline), Hytensa "Tina", Chris (Caroline) and Renea (Rev. DP Dawkins).
She had a love in her heart for God's people and enjoyed helping others.

Lois was a member of the Watson Temple Church of God in Christ under Pastor David Watson
until she moved to Texas in 2013. In Texas, she joined the Macedonia Missionary Baptist
Church in Fate, Texas under Pastor DP Dawkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, granddaughter, Angela Collins, two
brothers, and five sisters.

Lois is survived by her children, a bonus son, Jonathan; one brother John (Kay); grandchildren,
great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
