Lou Willie Propes was born December 4, 1941 to Bob Driver and Adell Tillman in Timpson, Texas. She attended and graduated from Timpson High School.
Lou accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Isiah Joshua, Jr. She was a faithful and dedicated member until her health begin to fail.
Mrs. Propes was a cook for Allen Independent School District for 15 years and retired in 2000.
Lou met and later married the love her life, Linde Earl Propes and to their union four children were born.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents Bob Driver and Adell Tillman; two brothers, Joshua and Isiah Barnes.
The memory of a full, loving life is left with her husband of 58yrs Linde Earl Propes of Royse City, Texas; daughter, Ella Propes of Garland, Texas; three sons: Willie and Robert Propes of Royse City, Texas and Ray Propes of Aubrey, Texas; five grandchildren: Colby Singleton, Taylor McKinzie, Bert Shannon, Willie "Little Willie" Propes, Jr., and Tabatha Propes; eight great grandchildren; two sisters: Leacie "Mae" Hill and Leater Gilstrap of Wylie, Texas; three brothers: Moses Barnes (Nell) of Ft. Worth, Texas, RT Driver (Fannie) of Plano, Texas, Bobby Driver (Barbara) of Rosser, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
