Marcus La'Veggie Davenport was born, January 30, 1971 in Dallas, Texas to Lewis and Sarah Davenport. He was the youngest of three.

Marcus graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1990. He later attended the University of Phoenix where he pursued a career in Marketing.

He met and married his best friend Antoinette (Rollins) Davenport.

Marcus was a musical artist, historian, public relations spokesperson and he had his hand in many other crafts. While living out his passion as an artist, he also worked as a supervisor for Texas Tree and Landscaping alongside his father Lewis Davenport. There was nothing Marcus could not do. He cherished life. He had a loving heart for God, his family, friends, music and the community.

Marcus was called home to live eternally with his Heavenly Father on May 15, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his son DeMarius De'Ontae Davenport.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his wife Antoinette Davenport; parents: Lewis and Sarah Davenport; children: Shauntavia Antrice Wright, Ephraim Davenport, Christian Davenport, Miracle Davenport, Natalia Davenport and Lil Marcus Davenport II; grandchildren: Paul La'Kendrick Stafford Jr., Ma'Ryah Dior White, Cherish Chanel Ivory; siblings: Audrey Katrina Bell and Lewis Aldonta Davenport and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
