Marcus Shakee Jones, affectionately known as "Sweet Jones" went home to be with the Lord in Rowlett, Texas on September 11, 2021, at the age of 39.
Marcus was born on November 5, 1981, to Curtis Vines and Danna Ann Jones in Allen, Texas. He was a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, coworker, and friend.
Marcus attended Allen Independent School District where he attended Allen High School and excelled in athletics including Football, Basketball, and Track.
Marcus' first love was his family. He took pride in being a doting husband, amazing father, prideful grandfather, an adoring son, and a wonderful brother. He quickly moved up the ladder becoming the Regional Manager of the Valvoline in Rowlett, Texas. One of his true passions was cooking. He made the best fried chicken in all of Texas. One of his aspirations was to own a food truck. Marcus was the most loyal, loving, and supportive person that you could ever meet. We are truly going to miss the laughs we all shared, the stories told while sitting around the perfect bonfire he built, and goofy jokes.
Marcus was preceded in death by his brother, Corey Jones, grandmother, Elizabeth Jones.
Marcus is survived by his wife, Misti Jones, their three daughters, Michaela, Madelyn and Shelbi, his parents, Buster and Dana Williams, sisters, Olympia Turner and Keana Williams, granddaughter, Simone, grandfather, Herbert Jones, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues that will all miss him dearly.
