Margaret Ann Tatum was born to Mildred E. Orr and Willie J. Spencer in Whitewright, TX on July 22, 1941. She was raised by her great grandmother, Margaret Pruitt and went to school in Denison, TX. She was an only child and spent her days playing the piano and she loved dancing and spending time with her family.

Margaret married Bobby Ray Tatum on September 8, 1975. She worked in accounting at Trailways for 15 years and Centra Benefits for 10. Later in life, her love for people called her name and she became a CNA before she could no longer work outside the home.

On Saturday, October  5, 2019, God saw fit to call Margaret home. She will be greeted in Heaven by her mother, Mildred E. Orr, her great grandmother, Margaret Pruitt , her daughter, Ramona D. Spencer, her great aunt, Millie Ann Orr, her mother-in-law, Savannah Tatum, her son, Donald Tatum, her special daughter, Vanessa Drayton, her father, Willie J. Spencer, her daughter, Mildred Ann Palmer, and her son/great-grandson, Anthony Spencer.

Sis. Tatum will be forever remembered by her husband, Bobby Ray Tatum, son, Stacy Tatum, daughter, Sharon Tatum, grandsons, Bobby A. Spencer (Sheryl Runner), Christopher Spencer (Kamisha), Octavious Tatum, Dominick Tatum (Cheryl), Stacy Tatum, Jr. and Justin Tatum, her granddaughters, La Rhonda Hall (Chris), LaKendria Campbell (Anthony), Giovanni Drayton, Samone Tatum and Dequavia Tatum. Margaret will also be remembered by her 27 great-grandchildren, special sons and daughters, special grandsons and granddaughters, extended family and friends
