Melanie was a native of Dallas, Texas where she received a fundamental education at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.  Her artistic nature afforded her the ability to teach her children to read with their hearts first and to use their minds in their core development. "Mel" as she was affectionately called was respectful and kind, she loved children and could hardly pass up an opportunity to express genuine, sincere, and positive affection towards everyone she met. Her creative spirit encouraged many, as she was highly sensitive and mentally gifted. Mel's inspiration and imagination live on through her family who still loves her dearly and will continue to support her spirit-filled individuality.

Prior to Mel's short-term illness, she was employed at Fuji in technical support where her largest account was Wal Mart's photo centers. Additionally, she performed various responsibilities in the corporate world such as Southwestern Bell, and Teleperformance. Once she became incapacitated, she cared for and ran errands for her grandparents as they age.

On Friday, September 13, 2019, Melanie L. Graham, mother, daughter, sister passed away suddenly at the age of 43 years. Melanie was preceded in death by her late father Gregory Thomas Graham Sr., and her maternal grandparents Taft Gray Jr. and Zepherine Gray as well as her paternal grandparents Lee Grant Graham and Cora Mae Graham.

She will be forever remembered by her best friend and brother Gregory Thomas Graham Jr., her precious children Tyrin Gregory Lynn, Euraiya N. Fuller, and her parents Carrie A. Jennings and stepfather Melvin L. Jennings.

Melanie will be forever remembered by extended family and friends.
