Ms. Monthra Baker was born June 21, 1951 to the parentage of Clarence Baker and Lois Thompson. She received her education in the Dallas Independent School District. She went on to attend El Centro College. She spent her early life caring for her children and her later life caring for her mother, Lois Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Rayburn Baker.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mom, Lois Thompson Aimes; 4 children: Aldrum Baker, Sr., Areia Bacon (Lonnie Sr.,), Maurice Maize, and Damon Maize. She had a very special Daughter in Law, Karen Ford. From her children she gained 10 grandchildren: Shetterrica Ford, Christopher White, Effanesia Baker, Lonnie Bacon, Jr., Aldrumesia Baker, Marquisha Maize, DeVonte' Bacon, Dominique Maize, Xavien Maize, Aldrum Baker, Jr. She had 11 great grandchildren; three brothers: Alarick Thompson, Nedridge Aimes, and Ronald Baker. She also leaves to cherish her memories 7 godchildren and god grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
She dedicated her life to helping others. She served as a founder of the Baker Nixon Foundation mentoring and managing in every way possible.
Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 21.
