Patricia Ann Andrews was born on December 9, 1949, in Dallas, Texas to
the parentage of OJ McCollums and Nancy Draper. She accepted Christ at
an early age at St. John Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Patricia attended Lincoln High School and retired from Fresenius Healthcare Group and wasknown for her intelligence and kind spirit. She had a passion for learning and always encouraged her children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, always putting her family and friends first.
One of Patricia's favorite pastimes was visiting the casino. She loved the thrill of the games
and the excitement of the atmosphere. She was always up for a game of chance and enjoyed
spending time with friends and loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories
that will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Patricia went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Patricia is preceded
in death by her parents, OJ McCollums and Nancy Draper; son, Derek W. Thompson; sister,
Doris Hill, and her brothers, Charles Peterson and L.C. Peterson.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Michael Andrews, her daughters, Angela Thompson and Eva Wilson; eight beloved grandchildren, Jordan, Shae (Cortez), Jalyn, LaDora (Rontez), My-
ron, Ashley, MyKeveon, and India; eight great-grandchildren, Zyaire, Kemani, Zariah, Harmo-
ny, Journey, Amaya, Ra'shaun and Destiny; and a host of other family and friends of whom she loved dearly.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories she leaves be-
hind. May her beautiful light shine down on all of us. We will miss her dearly. She will always and forever be in our hearts.
